Following the acquisition of SF Fire Limited by Marlowe plc, SF Fire has formally integrated into Island Fire Protection, effective from April 1st 2022.
Island Fire Protection is one of a number of established brands comprising Marlowe Fire & Security Group, the Fire Life Safety & Security Division of Marlowe plc.
Individually, these businesses are leaders in their fields but together form a group that can provide our customers with a comprehensive and integrated approach to their safety and regulatory compliance.

Established in 1991, Island Fire Protection has over 30 years’ experience providing market-leading fire protection services.
Island Fire is a family run business with complete autonomy, whilst benefitting from the support of Marlowe Fire & Security Group.
As a BAFE-accredited company, we’re qualified in the installation of a wide range of fire safety equipment, from fire extinguishers to fire alarms, fire signage and emergency lighting.
All equipment we provide is British Standard Kitemarked, and our fire extinguishers are compliant with BS 5306-3.
As well as equipment, we also provide fire safety training and fire marshal training for businesses to ensure staff are trained in fire safety protocols, as per your legal obligations. Through detailed fire risk assessments, we can determine where your fire safety preparedness can be improved, and implement these changes to ensure you’re appropriately protected.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our service and the importance of our work. As such, we offer flexible payment plans to suit a range of budgets, so all of our customers can benefit from our expertise.
WHAT WILL CHANGE AND WHAT WILL STAY THE SAME?
There will be no material change to your current arrangements and our agreed contractual obligations remain unaffected by the integration.
We will retain a regional hub in Yorkshire and the same dedicated engineers will continue to provide the quality service we are known for.
Our insurance cover, certification, accreditation and leading industry memberships and commitment to health, safety and quality will continue unaffected.
Most importantly we will continue to put our customers first.
From April 1st 2022 all future company communications will be branded Island Fire Protection. Examples of the types of documents that will be branded as Island Fire Protection.
In addition, our email addresses URL will be migrating to @island-fire.co.uk and our new advertised telephone number will be 0800 294 6726.
The SF Fire website has migrated to www.island-fire.co.uk in addition to updating our social media accounts and online directories.
Please be aware that all current email addresses will be automatically redirected to ensure no communication is lost and our existing telephone number diverted.
